I miss you when you’re gone Dolores O’Riordan Index finger sketch πŸ‘†πŸ½ Made with @fiftythree paper . . Dealing with loss is a strange process when u don’t know what it is that u’ve really lost. Did u ever have what u feel is gone now, was it even yours. But the sense of loss feels monumental and all u really know is whatever that was lost, meant a lot to u. . Life momentarily pulls u aside to break the news and moves on, not caring or allowing the time to mourn for the loss, to let u pick up the zillion pieces. . So much of my growing up was set to her music. All the angst, hurts, loneliness and longings of an adolescent life found home in the haunting wilderness that was her voice. A voice that for me is both a joyous bike ride and a shoulder to cry on, a refuge. To say she had an amazing and magical voice and probably the most iconic and unique, would be worldly. My heart would only bleed if it were to describe her. . “And there’s no other place that I’d lay down my face.” . #indexfingersketch #doloresoriordan #dolores #thecranberries #madewithpaper #paper53

Mohammad Ali [June 3, 2016] Index Finger Sketch πŸ‘†πŸ½ Drawn with the finger on @fiftythree Paper. . English textbook in junior high school had a chapter titled ‘Olympic gold’. It was the story of a boy who’d won a gold medal at Olympics and loved it so much that he would not take it off. He would sleep in it even if it gave him cuts on his chest n back. Then one day he threw the medal in Ohio river. That was the first time I read about Cassius Clay who became Muhammad Ali. That story had a profound impact on me. I couldn’t stop thinking about him even after many weeks of reading that chapter. I’d imagine what his world must be like, paint visuals in my head. My imaginary interpretation of Olympic Gold is still fresh in my memory. Growing up, he was my only true hero. And will remain so forever. To the guy who was the greatest, not only in the ring but outside of it too. πŸ‘ŠπŸ½β€οΈ . #indexfingersketch #ali #mohammadali #thegreatest #legend #boxer #cassiusclay #tribute #tributeart #fingerdrawing #portrait #instaart #instaartist #ipadart #fingerart #madewithpaper #madewithpaper53 #paper53 #sketch #artist #artistsoninstagram #artistsofinstagram
